| State Route 20 is open again after over a month of closure due to the wildfires affecting Mazama, Winthrop, WA, and Twisp. At the moment there is a reduced speed zone and pilot car from milepost 166 to 172. Fire and maintenance crews are also on the roadway and travel times to and from the Methow Valley will be a little longer at this time. With the highway open again and the recent rain, hopefully businesses in the Methow Valley will pick up where they left off very soon. |

Snow! We are getting fresh new snow. Fantastic. Warmer temperatures in the low to mid thirties, and sunny skies are predicted for the next couple of days and then more snow. Temperatures are predicted to be in the twenties at night. This is great ski temperatures unlike the fridgid temperatures we had earlier in the Methow Valley ski season.
