    The amazing Andy Coe Band is coming to Methow Valley on March 21, 2019. The Andy Coe Band is comprised of guitarist Andy Coe, Gary Palmer on keys, Chris Jones on bass and Scott Palmer on drums.  These best buddies from high school decided to get together to honor the folk legend Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead and have been doing incredible jams ever since. Although our hearts were broken to lose Jerry, Andy Coe Band helped ease the pain and in doing so they turned the Seattle Dead Head Community into a thriving tight knit group of friends and fans alike. They are our Washington treasure, but the time has come for more folks to discover just how great this band is. Here they are doing Wake Now Discover That You Are The Eyes Of The World!

    The March 2019 Methow Valley real estate reports are here including Winthrop, Washington, Mazama, Twisp, Carlton and all the Methow Valley. As expected the results are slower than last month and a bit slower than last year. Larwence Yun the Chief Economist from the National Association of Realtors discusses the tax question that may effect real estate home sales. In 2017 the tax benefit that investors enjoy was taken away from some home owners occupying their own homes.     Loup Loup Ski Bowl Big Chair broke early Wednesday moring before anyone got on the chair lift and started skiing. The part is being sought after, but alas there will be no big chair operations this weekend of March 2 and 3, 2019. The hardworking ski patrol volunteers took this oportunity to practice repelling off the chair lift by having a willing victim climb up the chair and then get repelled off with ropes. Great idea gang. Many skiers went over to the little poma and had some fun on the short little poma run. All the nordic trails are groomed too. 

    Meanwhile the Methow Valley Sports Trails are in fantastic shape for late winter early spring in Winthrop, Wa, Mazama and Sun Mountain too.  Heading out early in the moring is a good idea because as the temperatures rise above 32 degrees on sunny days...
