St. Patricks Day March 17, 2017in Methow Valley will surely have the green beer flowin for the laddies and lasses, with plenty of live music to entertain . If you are looking for one of the best holiday traditions for this Irish celebration in our nation, New York City holds the annual St. Patricks Day Parade.

I actually was at a St. Patty's Day Parade in New York City many years ago.  Now I am not much of a parade attendee, but this parade was really something. Everyone lines the streets in green and they are celebrating like it is the last day in the world.  The streets are packed and there is a lot of leprechaun magic in the air.  The parade lasts for hours and is quite a spectacle.

If you ever decide that you really want to go all out for St. Patty's Day celebrations, New York City might be just the place to do that.
